Playgrnd Ventures is looking for a cryptocurrency researcher team member with strategic mindset and ability to pinpoint the upcoming trends and analyze projects at their early stage. As a core team member, you are expected to become the next visionary that is able to identify the future of NFT and Web3 regardless of the turbulence of the market and unknown conditions.   

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze the market trends and determine the next step for the ventures as investing strategy and marketing strategy
• Screen projects from the materials given by the team to evaluate their quality based on the specifications 
• Collaborate with internal team to conduct due diligence of potential projects 
• Come up with concepts and ideas for blogging from an expert’s point of view
• Seek through the trends in the cryptosphere to identify non-obvious opportunities for deployment of ventures
• Predict the next moves of the market and suggest the right tactics to face upcoming challenges in the macro-thinking viewpoint

Requirements

• Solid knowledge about blockchain and cryptocurrency, including, but not limited to smart contracts scripting, cryptography, crypto-economics, and blockchain technologies generally, prferably with proven track record and experience in practicing analytics in a marketing, product, or finance organization
• Macro and helicopter thinking with bold judgment based on facts and figures
• Ability to connect the dots based on clustered data to identify between a hyped up project and a long-termed product
• Analytical mindset with sharp instinct to get the hidden gem from the ground. 
• Passion for cryptocurrency and strong belief in the growth of NFT/Web3 in the near future
• Proficient with database, analytics and visualization technologies (e.g. SQL, BI tools…)
